Brushy Mtn Customs, a brand owned and operated by Fortress Management Group, Inc., a Florida corporation registered and domiciled in North Carolina (“we,” “us,” or “our”), is committed to delivering your custom fishing rods safely and reliably. This Shipping Policy outlines our processing, shipping, and delivery practices for Products purchased on brushymtncustoms.com (the “Site”).

  1. Processing and Production Time All Products are custom handcrafted in our Wilkesboro, North Carolina workshop. Production begins only after full payment and order confirmation.
  • Estimated production time: 4–12 weeks from order confirmation, depending on customization details (e.g., blank color, components, engravings), material availability, and current workshop volume.
  • We will provide an estimated completion date in your order confirmation email. Delays may occur due to high demand, supply chain issues, or unforeseen circumstances, we will communicate any changes promptly.
  • In-stock or semi-custom items (if offered) may ship faster; custom rods are made-to-order and prioritized on a first-come, first-served basis.
  1. Shipping Methods and Carriers We ship within the continental United States using reliable carriers suited for long, fragile items like fishing rods (typically packaged in sturdy tubes with protective padding).
  • Primary carriers: USPS Priority Mail (for most orders), UPS Ground, or FedEx Ground (selected based on size, weight, destination, and cost efficiency).
  • We do not currently offer international shipping. If this changes, we will update this policy.
  • Expedited shipping (e.g., 2-day or overnight) may be available upon request—contact us before ordering for a quote (additional fees apply and are not guaranteed due to custom production timelines).
  1. Shipping Costs and Calculation Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on:
  • Package weight and dimensions (custom rods are typically 1–5 lbs in protective tubes).
  • Destination ZIP code.
  • Selected carrier and service level.

Rates are displayed transparently before payment. We do not mark up shipping costs—we pass through carrier rates plus any packaging/handling fees. Free shipping thresholds or promotions (if offered) will be noted at checkout.

  1. Delivery Estimates and Tracking
  • Estimated delivery after shipment: 2–7 business days within the continental US (USPS Priority: 1–3 days; UPS/FedEx Ground: 3–7 days, depending on distance).
  • These are carrier estimates only—we are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, holidays, or customs (if applicable).
  • Once your rod ships, you will receive a tracking number via email. Track your order directly on the carrier’s website.
  1. Risk of Loss and Insurance
  • Risk of loss passes to you upon our handover to the carrier.
  • We package rods with extreme care to prevent damage, but if your shipment arrives damaged, notify us immediately (within 7 days of receipt) with photos and details—we will work with the carrier to file a claim and arrange repair/replacement/refund per our Limited Warranty and Returns policy.
  1. Shipping Restrictions and Address Requirements
  • We ship only to valid physical addresses (no P.O. Boxes for rod shipments due to size; USPS Priority may allow some P.O. Boxes—confirm at checkout).
  • APO/FPO military addresses may be accommodated via USPS.
  • We reserve the right to cancel or adjust orders if shipping to certain restricted areas (e.g., due to carrier limitations).
  1. Changes or Issues If you need to change your shipping address after ordering, contact us immediately—changes may not be possible once production or packaging begins. For questions, lost packages, or issues, email [email protected].
