Brushy Mtn Customs, a brand owned and operated by Fortress Management Group, Inc., a Florida corporation registered and domiciled in North Carolina (“we,” “us,” or “our”), stands behind the quality and craftsmanship of every custom fishing rod we build. This Warranty Policy applies to all Products purchased directly from brushymtncustoms.com (the “Site”).
- Limited Lifetime Warranty – Manufacturing Defects We warrant to the original purchaser that your Brushy Mtn Customs rod is free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for the lifetime of the rod (limited lifetime warranty).
- This covers issues such as blank failure due to manufacturing flaws, guide/wrap detachment from poor adhesion, or other workmanship defects attributable to our handcrafting process.
- To qualify: Provide dated proof of purchase (order confirmation/receipt) and register your rod if prompted (optional but recommended via our site form).
- We will, at our sole discretion, repair, replace (with comparable materials/components), or refund the original purchase price (less shipping) for covered defects.
- No-Hassle Replacement for Accidental Damage Accidents happen on the water. As a courtesy to our customers, we offer a one-time replacement option per rod (original owner only) for breakage not caused by a manufacturing defect (e.g., high-sticking, impact, misuse).
- Replacement: We will provide a new rod or rod section of the same model/specification (or closest equivalent if discontinued) at a discounted rate of [e.g., 50% off original price + shipping; specify your fee structure].
- This is limited to one replacement per rod lifetime; additional incidents are not covered.
- Submit claims with photos of the damage, proof of purchase, and a brief description.
- What This Warranty Does NOT Cover This warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear (e.g., cork grip wear, cosmetic scratches, guide scratches from line).
- Damage from misuse, abuse, accident, neglect, improper care/storage, modifications by third parties, or use beyond intended purpose (e.g., overloading the rod).
- Components sourced from third parties (e.g., aftermarket guides, reel seats)—these carry their manufacturers’ warranties only.
- Damage during shipping (handled under our Shipping Policy).
- Consequential or incidental damages (e.g., lost fishing time, travel costs).
- How to Make a Warranty Claim
- Contact us within a reasonable time after discovering the issue (ideally within 30 days for best resolution).
- Email [email protected]] with:
- Your name, order number, and proof of purchase.

- Description of how/when the issue occurred.
- We may request you ship the rod to us (prepaid; we’ll cover return shipping if covered under warranty).
- We inspect and respond within [e.g., 14 business days]. Processing time varies based on inspection/parts availability.
- General Terms
- Warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.
- Products are sold “AS IS” except as expressly warranted here. No implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose extend beyond this policy.
